About Us

My name is LaTara Baker and I am the founder of Just Aim High (J.A.H.) clothing line. I created this brand in honor of my mother, Jermell Antionette Hampton (J.A.H.). "Just Aim High" is a phrase my mother often said to encourage me to dream big. I've always loved fashion. However, being part of the "plus-sized" demographic has presented limits as far as clothing options and I don't like being limited. I mean us thick, curvy, and fabulous ladies and gents deserve to be fly too right? So, I chipped away at the ceiling that was limiting me, and aimed high to create a clothing brand without limits. One that allows ALL women and men to fly and be fly at the same time. The old adage "When you look good, you feel good" is true. I know that when I look my best, I feel confident, powerful, strong and beautiful. My hope is that all of my beautiful queens and handsome kings feel AMAZING while wearing my brand. I hope that you all remember to "Just Aim High." I'm right here cheering you on!
